Our women's shoes are true to size. The Butterfly and Washed Canvas styles have wider designs, so we recommend sizing down for these.

Men's clogs are designed with a slightly higher back for more security, we therefore advise that you go up a size from your usual shoe size for an easier slip on/off experience, especially if your foot is a wider fitting or if you have a high arch. Tips to Keep Your Backdoorshoes in Top Shape:
- Important: Avoid leaving them near glass doors or in direct heat—they can shrink!
- Cleaning: Keep them fresh by washing in warm, soapy water (never hot!) and let them air dry.
- Insoles: Remove and wash insoles by hand or in the washing machine at 30°C.
- Squeaky Shoes? Sprinkle talcum powder between the insole and footbed to stop the squeak. If needed, reach out for assistance!
- Extra Room: Remove the insoles for more toe space while still enjoying comfort.
- Custom Fit: Have a tricky foot shape or bunion? Heat the shoe gently with a hairdryer (hot setting, under 1 minute), then mold it to your foot.
