Delivery & Returns


We have a very easy returns policy here at Backdoorshoes, to give you peace of mind:

Ordered the wrong size:

Regift and share Backdoorshoes love!

The most cost effective and planet friendly way is to find a friend or family member with the right size feet for the shoes you have and order another pair!  We thank you if you manage to do this.


Reorder & return:

The swiftest solution is to immediately order the ones you'd like and simply post the unwanted shoes back at your convenience with a note for us to refund and your order number etc.


Return & exchange:

If that's not possible simply put your Backdoorshoes® back in the post and we will replace the original shoes with your preferred size (please note shoe exchange is only possible with shoes that are unworn).


What if I wish to return my shoes?

If your shoes are unsuitable please return to us with your order number and details for a refund to be issued (please allow up to 10 days for refunds, which will be for goods and not P&P).

For exchanges, in the interest of fairness, we ask that you pay the postage cost to us and we will cover the postage back to you, 2nd class is suitable NB : More for boots

Refunds and exchanges are processed once a week so please be patient with us and we will be dealing with your parcels as quickly as we can.


Is there a time limit to exchange my Backdoorshoes®?

No, the only criteria is that your shoes are not worn. If this is the case, we will happily exchange them by return. 



We aim to dispatch any orders placed by 1.30pm, on any working day (Monday to Friday), on the same day regardless of your postage option.

Our free standard UK delivery service, which does not require a signature, aims to deliver within 3-5 working days .

We also offer a 'Rapid Tracked’ service at an additional charge, this usually arrives within 1-2 working days. 

All European parcels are sent on a tracked service which means the delivery duty is included in your delivery charge (NB: There may still be handling charges beyond our control).

All Rest of World Parcels are sent on the most economical tracked service and duty and taxes may well be payable by the recipient (these charges are beyond our control).


What happens if my is parcel is lost?

Your Backdoorshoes® are insured should they not arrive, but be assured 99.9% of parcels were delivered in good time again this year. In the rare situation where a parcel is delayed we need to allow up to 21 days from the order date before we can consider them lost and therefore we cannot replace or refund these orders until 21 days have passed.
