Ultralight boots are the most comfortable light-weight wellies on the market!

Every pair comes with a set of custom-made, warm removable liners made of antibacterial felt which is machine-washable. (We recommend sizing up due to the thicker sock).

The boots are made of EVA polymer, with a technique called direct injection moulding technology, making these unique boots one of the most durable (resistant to splitting and cracking) and, perfect for the garden/dog walks/ attending the horses at the stables or even the local pub!

Each boot weighs only just 219g.

Sizing Information

Our women's shoes are true to size. The Butterfly and Washed Canvas styles have wider designs, so we recommend sizing down for these.

Men's clogs are designed with a slightly higher back for more security, we therefore advise that you go up a size from your usual shoe size for an easier slip on/off experience, especially if your foot is a wider fitting or if you have a high arch. You can also try wearing with or without the insole - they are just as comfortable!

Tips to Keep Your Backdoorshoes in Top Shape:

Important: Avoid leaving them near glass doors or in direct heat—they can shrink!
Cleaning: Keep them fresh by washing in warm, soapy water (never hot!) and let them air dry.
Insoles: Remove and wash insoles by hand or in the washing machine at 30°C.
Squeaky Shoes? Sprinkle talcum powder between the insole and footbed to stop the squeak. If needed, reach out for assistance!
Extra Room: Remove the insoles for more toe space while still enjoying comfort.
Custom Fit: Have a tricky foot shape or bunion? Heat the shoe gently with a hairdryer (hot setting, under 1 minute), then mold it to your foot.

"Absolutely love these boots. Great for tracking across muddy fields with my dog. Very comfortable and enough thickness to the sole so you don’t feel any stones. Just rinse off the mud and they are ready for next time. The liners are a great idea but they are very tight in the foot. I am going to try and alter them. For the time being I wear thicker socks and the liners from my Backdoor shoes which fit inside perfectly. I ordered a size 7, I have very wide feet and the boots are a roomy fit."
